TheFamHub Privacy Policy
TheFamHub helps families coordinate shared lists, tasks, calendar events, and location sharing. This Privacy Policy explains what information TheFamHub collects, how it is used, and the choices available to users.
Information We Collect
- Name or display name you choose to use inside the app.
- Email address associated with Sign in with Apple or your account profile.
- Family content you create, such as lists, tasks, assignments, invitations, saved places, and event details.
- Location data, only if you grant location permissions, including background location if you enable that feature.
- Device push notification tokens used to deliver notifications to your device.
How We Use Information
- To create and manage your account and family memberships.
- To provide shared family features such as lists, tasks, calendars, invitations, and permissions.
- To show trusted family members your live or recent location when location sharing is enabled.
- To send notifications about activity you choose to receive, such as task updates or geofence events.
- To maintain app security, reliability, and core functionality.
Location Information
TheFamHub uses location only after you grant permission. If you allow background location access, the app may update your shared location even when the app is not open. You can change location permissions at any time in your device Settings.
Calendar Access
If you connect Apple Calendar, TheFamHub can export or sync shared family events with the Calendar app on your device. Calendar access is optional and can be revoked in device Settings.
Data Sharing
TheFamHub is built for private family collaboration. Information you add is shared with members of the family group according to the permissions and sharing settings configured inside the app. We do not use your data for third-party advertising.
Third-Party Services
TheFamHub uses Supabase to support authentication, storage, and real-time data syncing. Apple services such as Sign in with Apple, Apple Push Notification service, and Apple Calendar may also be used when enabled by the user.
Your Choices
- You can edit your display name in the app.
- You can disable location access, calendar access, or notifications in device Settings.
- You can leave a family or stop using the app at any time.
Children and Family Use
TheFamHub is intended for family organization. Parents or guardians are responsible for how they use the app with children and for deciding what information is shared within their family group.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. If material changes are made, the updated version will be posted at this URL.
